Publication BPMDS 2015 (23.03.2015)

The paper titled "Mining the Organisational Perspective in Agile Business Processes" has been accepted for publication as a regular paper at the 16th Edition of the Business Process Modeling, Development, and Support Series (BPMDS 2015), which will be held in Stockholm in June 8-9 in conjunction with CAiSE 2015. The acceptance rate this year was 40%. The paper presents an approach to extract complex rules for resource assignment from event logs and define declarative process models. The rules integrate the control-flow and organisational business process perspectives. The expressiveness of the mined rules has been tested against the Workflow Resource Patterns and a real use case. The paper is a collaboration between the Vienna University of Economics and Business (Austria) and the University of Bayreuth (Germany), specifically:

  • Stefan Schönig: University of Bayreuth
  • Cristina Cabanillas: Vienna University of Economics and Business
  • Stefan Jablonski: University of Bayreuth
