Safety-critical Human- and dAta-centric Process management in Engineering projects |
The paper titled "Resource Allocation with Dependencies in Business Process Management Systems" has been accepted for publication at the Forum track of the 14th International Conference on Business Process Management (BPM 2016), which will be held in Rio de Janeiro (Brazil) in September 18-22. The acceptance rate of this track was 15%. The paper presents a technique to derive an optimal scheduling for work items that have dependencies and resource conflicts, taking into consideration all types of resources involved in business processes. The authors of this paper are Giray Havur, Cristina Cabanillas, Jan Mendling and Axel Polleres from the Vienna University of Economics and Business (Austria).
